Currywurst, a German national dish and Germany’s No.1 street food, is very famous dish of German origin consisting of hot pork sausage with delicious sauce. Aromatic curry powder is poured over it. Usually it goes with fried potatoes.

Charquicán

One of examples of Chilean cuisine in general include Charquicán, a Chilean dried beef stew. Although Charqui or Charque is a main ingredient traditionally, today fresh grind beef or horse meat can be also used. It seems easy to prepare with a lot of ingredients such as potato, onion, corn, green leaf, bean or pumpkin.

Potatoes play a major role in the cuisines of Belarus. драники(Draniki), potato pancakes in English, would be a traditional and most famous national dish in Belarus. This potato pancakes are usually served with smetana (sour cream). I’ve had it with ikra (fish roe).

Knedlihky (Knedlíky)

It is boiled (not baked) dumpling made from flour, sometimes with mashed potato, milk, yeast and eggs, and boiled long time (around half an hour) after kned. Caribbean curry dish is the legacy of it, and has been major typical dish among Caribbean diet. Usually, rice or ‘Provision’ (a micxture of boiled potatoes or bananas) is accompanied as a hydrocarbonic source.

Giros (γύρος)

Giros (Greek:γύρος) is a kind of fast food that is sometimes eaten while standing in the street. The name Giros literaly means ‘turn’ in Greek, that’s why its meat is sliced like Shawarma in Israel or Doner kebab in Turkey and so on. Giros meat is stuffed into pita (flat bread) with tzaziki (strained yoghurt with garlic flavor), vegetable salad and fried potato.
